Journal of Humanity & Islam (JHI) is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed journal published by Hatam Publications, Malaysia. It is published 3 times in a year in April, August and December. It endeavors to cover wide range of scholarly research papers dealing with issues related to Islam and humanity in the context of various branches of knowledge: history, civilization, politics, economics, philosophy, sociology, anthropology, culture, Islamic thought, science and technology. JHI aims to maintain a spirit of syncretic pluralism in treating the problems of inter-faith dialogue and comparative study of faiths and religions and in dealing with other contemporary issues.
JHI, in addition to peer reviewed papers, seeks to publish research notes, review-articles, and books reviews on the works that fall in the areas of its interest.
The aim of JHI is to enlighten the readers, Muslims as well as non-Muslims, with research based insights by intellectuals and academicians on a variety of issues affecting Islam and humanity from an Islamic perspective. JHI also aims to serve as a bridge to facilitate fruitful dialogue both among Muslims and other faith communities.
